In the early part of 2008, a very dear relative of Tammi's was diagnosed with uterine cancer, so she's seen first hand the devastation and trauma hair loss can cause. Care Sessions Human Hair Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that Tammi established that provides 100% human hair lace front wigs for individuals with medically related hair loss. 

Because many insurance companies do not provide full coverage for the expense of high quality cranial prostheses, Care Sessions™ donates top-of-the-line hair prostheses to those who qualify that are suffering from cancer treatments, burns, alopecia, lupus and other debilitating illnesses that result in hair loss.

Cranial Prostheses are unlike over-the-counter wigs in that their base is made from soft, breathable material that resembles the scalp and provides maximum comfort for the wearer. Tammi's cranial prostheses are custom made to fit, made with the finest quality human hair to ensure a natural appearance and more importantly are created with and care. Each custom made prosthesis takes about 40 hours to complete, time well spent to make a person look and feel good about them self during such a difficult period.

Care Sessions™ offers in-home consultations for those who prefer being in a more comfortable atmosphere during this process. At that time, measurements are taken. A color and hairstyle that looks best with the individual's features is also chosen. Family and friends are invited to sit in on the consultation.

Tammi's passion has always been helping others feel beautiful and she takes extra pride in knowing that she has a part in boosting the image of those who suffer from hair loss. Yes, cancer can rob an individual of so much, but one thing that it doesn't have to take away is self-confidence.
