About Lance...

Lance has been in the hair industry for over 13 years. He started out just managing the salon that he and his wife, Tammi, formerly owned. After encouragement from his wife, other family members and friends, Lance went to cosmetology school. He realized soon thereafter that he actually liked it. Because Lance has always been interested in the beauty and fashion industry, hairstyling came quite naturally to him. His creativity and effervescent personality was an added bonus.
Lance is known as a thick and curly hair specialist. Although working with these hair textures are a bit more challenging, Lance feels that it's worth the effort involved when he sees how fabulous his clients look when he's finished and how learning how to deal with their thick, curly or frizzy hair can change their life. Lance's philosophy about hair is simple: it should be healthy, it should fit a person's lifestyle and, above all, it should be easy to manage on a daily basis.
When he's not behind the chair, Lance is behind the camera. As a professional wedding and high fashion photographer, Lance continues to make people look good. Whether it's to change your hairstyle or to take photos of your new "do", Lance is your man. He'll get the job done artfully, skillfully and professionally.
About Tammi...

At an early age, relatives recognized that Tammi had the natch for hairstyling , and they could not have been more accurate. "Hairstyling is not just a job to me", says Tammi, who has now been in the industry for nearly 20 years, "it's my passion. I absolutely love what I do." Tammi looks forward to going to work everyday and is very happy that she made such a wise career choice.
Although Tammi is a well rounded stylist, she likes doing extensions and natural hair (non-relaxed hair for ethnic woman) most. She has been certified by several training academies and has completed a lace front wig making and hair replacement course. Tammi regularly takes advance classes in order to keep up with innovative style trends.
All of her clients would readily agree that she is more than just a great stylist. Tammi is motivating, inspirational and compassionate. She often finds herself offering words of encouragement to her clients when they need it most. Some have even named her "Little Oprah". It's important to Tammi that her clients feel as good as they look when leaving her chair. The majority of her clientele look forward to seeing her on a bi-weekly basis. Even, those who have moved away from Boston often find their way home just to have a "session" with Tammi.
Tammi's latest venture is designing high fashion lace front wigs and hairpieces. She is also the founder of Care Sessions Human Hair Foundation, Inc. which donates custom cranial prostheses (wigs designed particularly for individuals with cancer, burns, alopecia and other medical related illnesses that result in hair loss). Tammi is grateful that she is able to use her talents to give back and in a way that makes such a difference in lives of others.
Unfortunately, due to health issues connected to working in a chemical environment, Tammi no longer continues to work as a hair care expert at Hair Sessions, Inc. She is missed at the salon.
